Ultrasonic stirring and dispersing equipment is composed of two parts: ultrasonic dispersing system and ultrasonic driving system (ultrasonic generator). Ultrasonic dispersion system consists of transducer, ultrasonic horn and ultrasonic tool head.

The ultrasonic transducer converts the electric energy transmitted by the ultrasonic drive system into ultrasonic vibration, and then transmits the vibration to the ultrasonic tool head, and the vibration energy is emitted into the liquid through the tool head.

The earliest application of ultrasonic stirring and dispersing was use of ultrasound to break up cell walls to release their contents. Low-intensity ultrasound can promote the process of biochemical reactions, and the growth rate of algal cells can be increased if ultrasound is used to act on the liquid nutrient matrix, thereby increasing the amount of protein produced by these cells by 2-3 times.

Compared with the energy density of cavitation burst, the energy density of ultrasonic sound field is enlarged by several trillion times, causing huge concentration of energy, sonochemical imagination and sonoluminescence caused by high temperature and high pressure generated by cavitation bubbles, It is a unique form of energy and matter exchange in sonochemistry.

Therefore, ultrasonic wave has great effects on chemical extraction, biodiesel production, organic synthesis, microbial treatment, degradation of toxic organic pollutants, improvement of chemical reaction speed and productivity, catalytic efficiency of catalysts, biodegradation treatment, ultrasonic descaling, biological cell crushing, etc. effect.

The dispersion of particles refers to the process in which solid particles are dispersed in the liquid phase medium and uniformly distributed in the entire liquid phase, and the solution is saturated and no longer dissolved in the liquid phase.

The following is a comparison of ultrasonic stirring and mechanical stirring:

1: Mechanical stirring and dispersion

Mainly rely on external force (mechanical energy) to stir back and forth, so that the molecules of the object are fully dispersed in the liquid phase, so that they can fully melt into the liquid, and then let them undergo natural chemical changes. This mechanical dispersion, although the cost of use. low, but the resulting efficiency is very low.

2: Ultrasonic dispersion

The high-frequency vibration of ultrasonic waves is used to generate cavitation effects, which locally generate high temperature, high pressure and shock waves, which greatly damage the force between particles and molecules, effectively prevent particle agglomeration, and allow them to be fully dissolved in the liquid phase. Ultrasound plays an important role in the synthesis of compounds, the degradation of polymers, and the dispersion of particulate matter.
